Prof. Ruqiang Yan

Xi' an Jiaotong University, China


Biography: IEEE Fellow, ASME Fellow, recipient of the Special Government Allowance from the State Council, winner of the First Prize of Technological Invention of Shaanxi Province in 2020 (first contributor), the First Prize of Natural Science of the Ministry of Education in 2020 (second contributor), the 2019 IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society Technical Award, with over 20 granted patents in the United States, Canada, Mexico, China, etc., leading the formulation of one IEEE international standard, and publishing over 100 journal papers in IEEE and ASME journals, Journal of Mechanical Engineering, Journal of Instrumentation, etc., among which one paper was awarded the Excellent Paper of Journal of Instrumentation in 2017, the Excellent Paper of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the Excellent Paper of the Fifth China Association for Science and Technology's Excellent Scientific Paper Selection Program, and one of the 100 Most Influential International Academic Papers of China in 2019. He has authored and edited one English monograph each. Currently, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the international journal IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, and as an Associate Editor of IEEE Sensors Journal and the English version of Journal of Mechanical Engineering.

Prof. Zhenyu Zhang

Donghua University/Dalian University of Technology, China


Biography: Zhang Zhenyu is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology. He is a National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and a talent at the "Hundred Talents Project" of Liaoning Province.

As the tenth achievement person, it won the National Science and Technology Progress Award (Innovation Team), and as the first achievement person, it won the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress of Hainan Province, the First Prize of Rare Earth Science and Technology Award of China Rare Earth Society, the First Prize of Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award of China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Association, the First Prize of Technological Invention Award of China General Chamber of Commerce, and the Second Prize of Patent Award of Liaoning Province. Professor Zhang Zhenyu's proposed cross-scale atomic-level polishing analysis large model, efficient near-zero damage atomic-level polishing new process, new method and complete set of new equipment have achieved atomic-level extreme precision processing of high-performance materials such as diamond, monocrystalline silicon, oxygen-free copper, phosphorus, germanium and zinc. Published 150 SCI papers in top international manufacturing journals (including Advanced materials, ACS Nano, Nano latters, Journal of extreme manufacturing, Additive) Such as manufacturing, Composites Part B, Advanced composites and hybrid materials, etc. Thirty cover articles have been published consecutively. A total of 82 authorized invention patents have been obtained, including 76 national invention patents and 6 US PCT patents. The research results have been applied to key national units such as the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, China North Industries Group Corporation, the Ninth Institute of Nuclear Technology, and the Ninth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

Prof. Hui Li

Northeastern University, China


Biography: Li Hui, male, born in November 1982, is from Fengzhen, Inner Mongolia. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, holds a Doctor of Engineering degree, and has completed postdoctoral research. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Northeastern University. Currently, he works at the Institute of Mechanical Design and Theory, School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Northeastern University, and is one of the key members of the "Aero-Engine Vibration and Control" Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education (Class B) at Northeastern University. His main research directions include: (1) Nonlinear vibration and active/passive control of advanced material structures; (2) High-temperature vibration and impact resistance characteristics of coating-composite material structures; (3) Preparation, vibration damping design, and mechanical property evaluation of smart composite materials; (4) Electromagnetic launch dynamics, bird strike impact dynamics, and development of high-end detection instruments and equipment, etc. In recent years, as the first author or corresponding author, he has published over 110 papers in important domestic and international journals such as Composites Science and Technology, Composites Part B: Engineering, Composite Structures, Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, Nonlinear Dynamics, Journal of Sound and Vibration, Thin-Walled Structures, Applied Mathematical Modelling, Engineering Structures, Journal of Sandwich Structures and Materials, Journal of Mechanical Engineering, Acta Aeronautica et Astronautica Sinica, Science China: Technological Sciences, Acta Mechanica Sinica, Journal of Vibration Engineering, and Journal of Composite Materials, among others.
